My Car Seat Blanket

So I made my car seat blanket, and I love how it turned out.

Tara from craftaffection.blogspot.com taught me how to make this.
It can also be used as a blanket for baby to lay on when you get to your destination.
And wraps up nicely for a gift.
Thanks, Tara!

Car Seat Blanket

I want to feature my friend's site today because she posted a project that I love.
Tara @ craftaffection.blogspot.com made this adorable car seat blanket.

I am so excited about this project because I struggled so much with my babies in their carseats. Both of my boys were born in the coldest months of winter and in order to go anywhere I had to really bundle them up. I would always lay a blanket right over them when carrying the car seat and then stress the whole time wondering if they could breathe. I am going to try and teach myself how to use my sewing machine this month, so this is a good project to start with.
Thanks for sharing, Tara.

What's in a name?

Juliet:
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet."
A personalized gift with the receiver's name on it is always unique.

Did you know that at http://www.mymms.com/ you can personalize your own M&Ms with words, colors, and even pictures.

My mom has crocheted blankets with each of her grandbabies' names on them. What a sweet expression of love. These blankets will be cherished always.

She can make these blankets custom made for you, too. Check them out at our Etsy shop.

Give the gift of Comfort in the form of a BLANKET

For as long as I can remember my mother has made the most beautiful crocheted blankets. I have been lucky enough to receive her blankets as gifts and every time felt a sense of comfort from such a special present.

I am excited to announce that she has decided to start selling her blankets. I can't think of a better gift to give to new baby. These blankets become a cherished childhood comfort and something to pass on to their children.

Each blanket comes tied with a pretty ribbon and a set of crocheted baby booties. Blankets can be created in any color you would like. If you are interested in purchasing one of these sets, please visit us at http://www.6crazysisters.etsy.com/.
