You're getting 'muffin' for Christmas!

"You're getting 'muffin' for Christmas!"

There are so many things you can do with this one.
  • Simply make a batch of muffins and put them in a basket with this quote tag attached.

  • You can repackage Jiffy muffin baking mixes. They usually cost less than fifty cents. Open the box and pour the contents into a plastic baggie. Then take a paper lunch sack, run it through your printer to put a cute graphic on it, put the baggie inside, fold it down, tie it with raffia, and put a tag on it with the instructions from the box. Looks like a million bucks, but is really inexpensive. Add your quote tag and a mini whisk on the outside.

  • Make Muffin Mix in a Jar. Just measure, decorate and share. There are many recipes you can choose from, but I found this one at http://www.rightathome.com/.

Cranberry Buttermilk Muffin Mix

Ingredients for the jar:
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

To assemble the gift jar
step 1 Wash and thoroughly dry a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
step 2 Layer the ingredients in the jar as listed above, starting with the sugar on the bottom, then flour, cranberries, ginger, baking powder, baking soda and finally salt. Press each ingredient layer firmly into place with a flat-bottomed object (like a large plastic cup) before adding the next.
step 3 Secure the lid and go to rightathome.com to download a recipe card that shares instructions for baking the muffins.

Just use your imagination and you will come up with muffin, I mean something :)
