I think your ideas are excellent. My grandparents idea is simple if you sew. You purchase or sew a lap quilt then embroider or sew the grandchildren names on it.
ReplyDeleteI like to ask a friend or family member to email me their favorite family picture. Then, using a free online editor or other photo editing program, add some cute personalized text. Like if it is a wedding gift add their last name and the year they were married in the corner in really cute fonts or if it is a family photo add "families are forever" or something. Then get a cute yet inexpensive frame to make it look nicer so they can display it in their home!
